Our fees are paid monthly, with four equal payments covering each term. Our aim is simple: no child or young person should miss out on music because their family is experiencing financial pressure.

What support is available?

Means-tested bursaries may contribute towards ensemble membership, tuition and instrument hire. Families receiving Working Tax Credit or Universal Credit may be eligible for a 30% reduction. The precise support available depends on current criteria and the funding available at the time of application.

Support may be funded through the North Yorkshire and York Music Hub and the Friends of York Music Centre. We will always explain clearly what is available before you commit to an activity.
