Groups for every stage
The weekly programme includes first-access activities, orchestras, bands, folk and early-music ensembles, percussion, theory and other opportunities. Groups may change between terms, so current availability is shown through enrolment.
One membership, a connected journey
Young musicians can develop skills, rehearse with others and work towards shared performances. The Centre connects beginner experiences to more advanced ensembles and York Youth Orchestra.
Tuition and instruments
Individual tuition and affordable instrument hire are available alongside ensemble activity, subject to availability. Bursary support helps ensure cost does not become an unnecessary barrier.
