York Music Education CIC is proud to work with a wide network of partners and funders who support our mission to provide inclusive, high-quality music education across York and beyond.

Partners

We collaborate with organisations that help us deliver a wide range of music-making opportunities for children and young people:

Funders & Supporters

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the following funders who help make our work possible:

  • North Yorkshire and York Music Hub – The Music Education Hub for North Yorkshire and York

  • Arts Council England – Through the Music Hub, supports access through bursaries

  • City of York Council – Transferred instrument stock to YME in 2017

  • Calmcott Trust and Radcliffe Trust – Grant funders supporting student access to music

  • Music Mark – Our national membership body supporting advocacy, training and networking

We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, regulated by the CIC Regulator. We report the outcomes and finances of every project to our funders and stakeholders. We also maintain open and regular dialogue with the Musicians’ Union to support and promote fair working practices in music education.

If your organisation would like to work with us, or support our mission, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.
